Blackberry key lime margarita

The mixed light tartness of both the blackberries and key limes, as well as the subtle sweetness of a key lime play well together. Add in your favorite blanco tequila, some sugar, and a salted rim if that’s your thing to round out a well balanced cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 6 blackberries
  • 1 oz key lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 slice key lime to garnish

Instructions

  • Add the blackberries to your shaker. Pour in the key lime juice and simple syrup. Muddle the blackberries until they are almost gone.
  • Add the tequila and a handful of ice to the shaker and put the top on.
  • Place a handful of ice into a rocks glass. (Add salt to rim if desired)
  • Garnish with a slice of key lime.
