  • To start, place a medium sized sauce pan on the stove and add the washed rice, water, coconut milk, and salt. Turn the stove on to high heat.
  • Now allow the pot to come to a boil. Once boiling, stir and then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 15 minutes and then remove the pot from the heat.
  • Let the pot sit covered for 10 minutes before uncovering and adding the chopped cilantro. Fluff the rice with a fork while mixing in the cilantro. Serve.
