Equipment

  • 1 medium sized metal bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Diced Strawberries 16 oz
  • 1/2 cup sugar 100g
  • 1 tsp salt 5 grams

Instructions

  • So the fact is that this is a super simple recipe that you can learn once and always have there for you in your back pocket.
  • First, remove the stems and leaves from your strawberries by coring them at the top. Then cut each tray berry into small pieces. The best method i have found for this is to cut them in half length wise and then to cut each half into thirds length wise before turning them to cut them into smaller pieces.
  • Place them into a metal bowl and add the sugar and salt.
  • Allow them to rest for a half hour in the bowl.
  • At this time, take a fork and mash the strawberries till you reach your desired texture. If you choose to, blend 1 third of the mash to make a smoother texture.
  • The strawberry jam will store for 5 days in the fridge and 1 month in the freezer

Notes

This is the easiest strawberry jam recipe you could try. It is super simple, super delicious, and it has a very strong fresh strawberry favor that you will want to keep coming back to.
